The San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors traveled to Washington, D.C., to meet with federal officials and advocate for issues critical to the County. They discussed efforts to combat invasive golden mussels in the Delta, alternatives to the Delta Conveyance Project, expand access to behavioral health services, improve transportation infrastructure, and secure federal support for local priorities.

This past Saturday, 238 volunteers joined San Joaquin County's 27th Annual Coastal Cleanup Day, removing an estimated 1,500 pounds of trash and debris from over 15 miles of land and waterways.

Today, San Joaquin County announced that San Joaquin Health Centers (SJ Health) has been awarded $650,000 in federal funding through the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration’s Health Center Program to support access to primary health care services throughout the County.

The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner formally presented the 2025 Annual Agricultural Crop Report to the County Board of Supervisors on September 15, 2026. The data will be used by the United States Department of Agriculture as part of its annual compilation of detailed agricultural data for every county in America.
