(Stockton, CA) – San Joaquin County’s Community Development Department (CDD) recently launched SolarAPP+, an automated application for permitting new residential rooftop solar and energy storage systems.

Stockton, CA – Effective January 3, 2023, the San Joaquin County Community Development Department (CDD) will require all permits with plans to be submitted through its online portal.

San Joaquin County is releasing a draft version of the Development Title which is the County’s zoning code. This comprehensive update will ensure consistency with the policies of the General Plan and provide streamlined opportunities for development in the County. The public is invited to review the draft document and provide comments. This Development Title is an overhaul of rules that existed since the last comprehensive update was adopted in 1992. Preparation of the document involved collaboration with a variety of stakeholders, elected and appointed officials and staff’s observance of the issues highlighted over the past 30 years. This document is intended to balance the modern needs of the development community with the preservation of the agricultural community

The San Joaquin County Community Development Department, in collaboration with the Public Works and Environmental Health Departments has completed a guidance document to assist our restaurant and winery businesses in the Unincorporated County to meet social distancing requirements as required by the San Joaquin County Health Officer and/or the Governor.
