The San Joaquin County Veterans Service Office is a recognized Veterans Service Organization. Our office is not affiliated with the Department of Veteran Affairs, but we serve as advocates by assisting with benefits through our accredited Veteran
Service Organizations.

- VSRs available Monday through Friday
- Walk-ins: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Fridays: Appointment only, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

- Veteran DMV Driver's License/License Plater certification
- Filing compensation and pension claim
- Intent to file documentation. (We do not schedule future appointments after an ITF. Instead, we provide guidance on what documents to bring back during a future walk-in.)
- Income verification letters

- California Tuition Fee Waiver Applications
- Vocational Rehabilitation and Education Applications
- Local, Veteran Non-Profit Emergency Aid Resource
- Homeless/Housing/Food Resources
- Flyers for Upcoming Community and Veteran Family Events

Appointments are not required for general benefits or claims assistance. They are reserved on a case-by-case basis for gravely disabled veterans, veterans aged 75 and older, surviving spouses, and homeless veterans.
