San Joaquin County leaders joined with State officials and health care providers today to break ground on the SJ BeWell Campus, a new behavioral health care facility that will expand access to care and strengthen the County’s commitment to building a healthier future.

STOCKTON, CA - At its meeting on Tuesday, April 22nd, the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors approved a critical step in the development of the Be Well Campus, a transformational behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment facility that will serve as the cornerstone of a more compassionate, coordinated, and effective behavioral health system in the County.

Stockton, CA - At its Tuesday meeting, the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors unanimously appointed Genevieve G. Valentine as Director of Health Care Services, making permanent the interim leadership role she has held since 2024.
