San Joaquin County is releasing a draft version of the Development Title which is the County’s zoning code. This comprehensive update will ensure consistency with the policies of the General Plan and provide streamlined opportunities for development in the County. The public is invited to review the draft document and provide comments. This Development Title is an overhaul of rules that existed since the last comprehensive update was adopted in 1992. Preparation of the document involved collaboration with a variety of stakeholders, elected and appointed officials and staff’s observance of the issues highlighted over the past 30 years. San Joaquin County Public Health Officer Dr. Maggie Park told the Board of Supervisors yesterday that COVID-19 case rates, hospitalizations, and ICU admissions are on the decline. She noted that COVID-19 case rates are dramatically decreasing from 198.8 cases to 66 cases per 100,000 since February 1, 2022.

San Joaquin County Public Health Officer Dr. Maggie Park told the Board of Supervisors yesterday that even though County COVID-19 case rates, hospitalizations, and ICU admissions are still high, they appear to be on the decline. She noted that COVID-19 case rates are starting to decrease from 237 to 198.8 cases per 100,000 since January 24, 2021.
