San Joaquin County announced ten remaining dates for community clean-up events in 2024, inviting residents to dispose of unwanted trash and household items.

As part of San Joaquin County’s aggressive, multiyear illegal dumping campaign, the Board of Supervisors celebrated winners of the recent K-12 Student Art Contest that created artwork for the next phase of the public education, eradication, and enforcement campaign focused on combatting illegal dumping and littering across the County.

Stockton, CA – Yesterday, the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors proclaimed the week of May 19th – May 25th as Public Works Week in San Joaquin County. Since 1960, the American Public Works Association has sponsored National Public Works Week, during which nearly 30,000 members across North America educate and energize the public about the importance of public works in their daily lives.

New County service that allows citizens and businesses to process permits online starting May 6, 2024. The new permitting process will apply to the County’s Community Development Department, Public Works, Environmental Health, and the Treasurer-Tax Collector.

San Joaquin County residents, businesses and local organizations are invited to participate in upcoming clean-up events throughout the year to help clear litter and debris from community locations and waterways.
