The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works has released the Draft Countywide Sidewalk Connectivity Plan (Draft Plan) for public review, marking an important milestone in the County's effort to improve pedestrian safety, accessibility and connections throughout unincorporated communities.

This past Saturday, 238 volunteers joined San Joaquin County's 27th Annual Coastal Cleanup Day, removing an estimated 1,500 pounds of trash and debris from over 15 miles of land and waterways.

San Joaquin County Department of Public Works was recently honored with three Project of the Year awards from the Sacramento Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA). The projects included Pock Lane Improvements, Sexton Road Bridge Replacement, and Thornton Water Main Looping.
