    San Joaquin County is pleased to announce the execution of a ground lease for development of the first of several large industrial buildings planned to be constructed on County-owned land for the Airpark 599 project. With a term of 99-years, the ground lease includes 57.97 acres to be developed with an approximately 1.2 million square-foot industrial building.

    San Joaquin County Receives Federal Census Data, Will Begin Drawing New Supervisorial Redistricting Maps

    San Joaquin County has recently received the updated 2020 Census Data and will be using that information to redraw the boundaries of the County’s five supervisorial districts. Redistricting takes place every 10 years after the Federal Census, when district boundaries for Federal, State, and local elected offices are redrawn to reflect new population data and shifting populations. The County has created an informational video to help explain the redistricting process, and residents are encouraged to draw their own lines using a mapping tool.

    The San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors approved additional funding for the Family COVID Assistance Grant and the Small Business Assistance Grant programs for residents and businesses that have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. To date, the County has distributed approximately $25.6 million to small businesses and families experiencing financial hardship due to the pandemic.
