Stockton, CA – Cooling centers remain open throughout San Joaquin County to protect the public from warmer temperatures over the next two days. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued an Excessive Heat Warning that will be in effect from 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 10 to 8 a.m. Friday, July 12 for the Northern San Joaquin Valley.

Manteca, CA – On Tuesday, April 11, 2023, the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office lifted the mandatory evacuation order for the residents of Airport Court.

The San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, will relocate the Emergency Evacuation Center from the Manteca Senior Center (295 Cherry Ln., Manteca) to the Stockton Fairgrounds (1658 S. Airport Way, Stockton).

Today at approximately 5PM, the evacuation warnings for Airport Court and Haven Acres Mobile Home Park along the San Joaquin River were increased to Evacuation Orders. At this time, an evacuation warning remains in effect for Turtle Beach. Reclamation districts will continue monitoring levees and address issues if they arise.

Today at approximately 4PM, additional evacuation warnings were issued for Turtle Beach and Haven Acres Mobile Home Park along the San Joaquin River. This is currently only a warning due to high water hazards. Reclamation districts will continue monitoring levees and address issues if they arise.
