The new system allows customers to schedule appointments in advance, skip the line, reduce wait times, and better plan their visits.
“People’s time is valuable, and this new online scheduling option helps us respect that,” said Jennifer Jolley, Director of the San Joaquin County Community Development Department. “By allowing customers to book appointments in advance, we’re creating a more predictable, efficient, and customer-focused experience— while also helping our staff better prepare to provide personalized, high-quality service.”
Community Development provides a range of essential services, including permitting, planning, building, and code compliance assistance. The Qless online scheduling platform supports more efficient service delivery by balancing customer demand with staff availability, resulting in shorter waits and smoother visits.
Residents and customers are encouraged to schedule an appointment before visiting Community Development offices by using the Qless online kiosk at this link.
Appointments can be scheduled from a computer or mobile device, allowing customers to choose a date and time that works best for their schedule.
