Students spend two hours at the field day interacting with a variety of agriculture displays. These include everything from fruit, vegetables, livestock, farm equipment, mosquito abatement, ag mechanics, youth organizations, pest abatement, law enforcement and more! These hand-on activities complement and build on virtual content students watch prior to arrival.

    San Joaquin County Department of Agriculture, in partnership with Amador, Calaveras, Yolo, and Sacramento Counties, are planning to host an Agricultural Pesticide Collection and Disposal Event in the late summer/early fall. This event is specifically for agricultural use (unwanted or legacy) pesticides from growers that farm in the participating counties.
