    Integrated Regional Water Management Plan Will Benefit Local Communities
    $6.5 Million in State Funding to Help Support Communities with Substantial Water Challenges

    The Greater San Joaquin County Regional Water Coordinating Committee (GSJCRWCC), a diverse group of regional water management stakeholders, announced that it adopted a significant update to the 2014 Integrated Regional Water Management Plan covering most of San Joaquin County (2020 IRWMP Addendum). Over $6.5 million in state grant funding will be available to the GSJCRWCC region to support water management projects identified in the IRWMP which meet California Department of Water Resources (DWR) requirements.

    San Joaquin County BOS Reorganization Meeting Press Release - Rickman Sworn in as a New County Supervisor
    Supervisor Patti Elected Chair of the Board

    Yesterday, the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors announced that Robert Rickman from District 5 was officially sworn in during the first Board of Supervisors meeting of 2021. Supervisor Tom Patti from District 3 and Supervisor Miguel Villapudua from District 1 were also sworn in to serve on the Board for an additional four years. In addition, Supervisor Tom Patti was elected Chair of the Board and Supervisor Chuck Winn was elected as Vice-Chair.
