San Joaquin County Public Health Officer Dr. Maggie Park told the Board of Supervisors yesterday that COVID-19 case rates, hospitalizations, and ICU admissions are on the decline allowing the lifting of mask mandates and other statewide executive orders. She noted that COVID-19 case rates are dramatically decreasing from 66 to 22.3 cases per 100,000 since February 15, 2022.

This comprehensive update will ensure consistency with the policies of the General Plan and provide streamlined opportunities for development in the County. The public is invited to review the draft document and provide comments. This Development Title is an overhaul of rules that existed since the last comprehensive update was adopted in 1992. Preparation of the document involved collaboration with a variety of stakeholders, elected and appointed officials and staff’s observance of the issues highlighted over the past 30 years.
