WHAT:
The San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters will conduct a randomized alphabet drawing to determine the order in which candidates’ names will appear on the ballot for the June 2, 2026 Gubernatorial Primary Election. The San Joaquin County drawing occurs at the same time as the drawing conducted by the California Secretary of State. Pursuant to the California Elections Code, certain contests follow the statewide randomized alphabet established by the Secretary of State, while others follow the County drawing.
