San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters Certifies Results for the 2026 Statewide Primary Election
Stockton, CA – Today, the San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters (ROV) office officially certified
the June 2, 2026, Statewide Primary Election results, 7 days before the State mandated deadline.
The final turnout for this election totaled 139,127 ballots cast, representing 33.9 percent of the
410,058 registered voters in San Joaquin County.
Ballots Cast Overview:
- 16,733 In person ballots were cast
- 122,394 Vote-by Mail ballots were cast
TOTAL: 139,127 total ballots cast
“Certifying the Primary Election ahead of schedule reflects the strength and coordination of our
elections team,” said Registrar of Voters Olivia Hale. “From initial ballot intake to final tabulation,
every step was carried out with care, accuracy, transparency, and a strong sense of responsibility
to the public. We appreciate the dedication of our staff and election workers, and we thank San
Joaquin County voters for their continued engagement in the democratic process.”
With the certification of the results of the 2026 Statewide Primary Election complete, the ROV will
present the certified results to the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
