Who:
San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters Olivia Hale will be available for interviews to provide pertinent information and updates before, during and after Election Day.

What:
The San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters (ROV) is committed to ensuring a smooth election process for all voters throughout the County. There are 176 polling locations that will be open on Election Day from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. A thoroughly trained staff of approximately 1,500 election officers will offer guidance and assistance to all who take part in the democratic process.

Of specific interest on Election Day and afterward, the ROV will be engaged in the following activities:

  • Reporting the first election night results at approximately 8:00 p.m. These results will include Vote by Mail ballots received through Saturday, November 5, 2022.
  • Monitoring the return of election materials, including the tabulation of ballots from the precincts will take place at the ROV Warehouse at 7585 Longe Street, Suite 112 in Stockton. There will be a specific media, observer, campaign check-in and viewing area which is open to the public.
  • Releasing results from the polls beginning at 10:00 p.m. Unofficial results will be updated approximately every two hours until all precincts have reported. Following Election Night, results will be reported every Tuesday by 7 p.m. until completion (NOTE: ROV may post weekly results sooner if appropriate).   • The ROV has until December 8, 2022 to certify the 2022 General Election.
