San Joaquin County Ballot Counting Status – 6/14/22
Good evening - The information below is a summary of the Statewide Direct Primary Election ballot-counting activity in San Joaquin County as of June 14, 2022.
- 54,468 ballots have been tabulated.
- 53,994 unprocessed ballots including vote-by-mail ballots; provisional ballots; conditional voter registration provisional ballots; and unprocessed ballots that are damaged, need to be remade, or require further review. All VBM ballots should have been received in the mail as of today, June 14, which is the deadline to receive ballots postmarked by June 7, 2022.
- Result totals will vary each week depending on scanning activities and ballots that need to be duplicated due to a ballot barcode printing issue.
- Future ballot postings will occur every Tuesday by approximately 9:00 p.m. until all votes are tabulated before the statutory deadline of July 7, 2022.
- The ROV’s office is working to ensure that every vote is properly counted. They are focusing their efforts on completing this election carefully and accurately using the time dictated by law to tabulate the votes by July 7, 2022.
