Why:

This is an opportunity for San Joaquin County CBOs/NCOs to enhance projects that align with the Board of Supervisors’ Strategic Priorities in support of community needs. Review the RFA for detailed eligibility and application instructions. Highlights include:

  • CBOs/NCOs may submit one-time funding requests to the County Administrator’s Office between July 1–31, 2025.
  • The County Administrator’s Office will review all requests and make recommendations based on established criteria, with final decisions made by the Board of Supervisors in late September 2025.
  • Operating costs are ineligible. Funding is intended for one-time, non-recurring needs.
  • One-time funding may be requested for phased projects that could be discontinued without impacting the organization’s core operations.
  • Some requests may be denied if the organization does not meet eligibility standards or does not serve a broader, Countywide population.
  • Projects with a Countywide impact may be prioritized over single-community initiatives.
