The Change in Ownership Statement provides the Assessor’s Office with the mailing address for property tax statements, helps in determining if there are applicable exclusions from reassessment and is used for general appraisal purposes. If the Preliminary Change in Ownership Report is unavailable, the Assessor’s Office will mail a request for the Change in Ownership Statement to be completed.
