Change of Fees for Standard First page, one side 8 1/2” x 11” (per title)
This is a notice of fee change for the San Joaquin County Clerk-Recorder standard first page, one side 8 ½” x 11” (per title) recording fee. The fee will change from $14.00 to $16.00.

The San Joaquin County Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk would like to inform you that the County of San Joaquin Board of Supervisors has approved the Recorder’s Office to add a $2.00 fee to the Recorder’s fee schedule, as authorized by state law to cover the reasonable cost of providing a state mandated service as outlined in AB1466. To ensure the amount of the AB 1466 fee is no more than necessary to recover the reasonable cost of this state mandated program, Government Code Section 27388.2 prohibits Recorders from charging this fee after December 31, 2027, unless the county recorder has received reauthorization by the county ‘s board of supervisors. The $2.00 fee increase will take effect on July 1, 2025.
