Under California law, you may register to vote at any time. The deadline to register to vote in any election is 15 days before Election Day. If you miss the 15-day deadline, you can register conditionally and vote at any polling place in San Joaquin County or at the Registrar of Voters’ Office. A conditional voter fills out a provisional ballot that is counted once their eligibility is confirmed.
