Benefits

As an eligible employee of San Joaquin County, you have a wide variety of benefits available to you and your eligible dependents. The comprehensive benefits package includes:

In order to be enrolled in any County-offered benefit options, you must attend an Employee Benefits Orientation session. You may also enroll and make changes to your benefits once a year during Open Enrollment or within 60-days of a Qualifying Life Event.

Benefits Orientation is part of the County's 2-day mandatory New Employee Orientation (NEO). NEO is offered every-other- Monday and Tuesday (of payday week).
