San Joaquin County's Staff Development Training Program offers employees the opportunity to participate in their own development. There are a wide variety of classes and workshops that:

• Assist in developing new skills
• Enhance and strengthen existing skills
• Prepare for promotional opportunities

In addition to basic skills training the County also supports mandatory training such as the following:

• Diversity, Respect & Inclusion
• Discrimination and Harassment Awareness
• Workplace Violence Prevention
• Sexual Harassment Prevention Refresher
