San Joaquin County Internship Program
Department Internship Interest

The San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors continuously supports the growth and development of the students in our community.

Through our High School and College Internship Programs, San Joaquin County departments have the opportunity to participate in these efforts.

We’re thrilled to invite your department to be part of this exciting initiative. These programs offer a chance to mentor students and introduce them to the world of public service.

Here’s what you need to know about the High School Program:
  • Interns will be high school students from within San Joaquin County
  • Each department’s estimated cost is approximately $1,000 per intern for the summer
  • Interns will support your team while gaining valuable exposure to public service
Here’s what you need to know about the College Program:
  • Internships can be paid or unpaid
  • Interns must attend a college or university and be in good standing
  • Interns will support your team while gaining valuable exposure to public service

We often say “greatness grows here” - now is the time to invest in that greatness. These students represent the future of our workforce, and your involvement is key to making this program a success.
