San Joaquin County is dedicated to supporting the next generation of leaders through meaningful internship opportunities for both high school and college students. By partnering with the San Joaquin A+ Internship Program, we provide local high school students with hands-on experiences in County departments, helping them explore career interests, build skills, and gain valuable knowledge.

For university students, the County offers internships that provide real-world exposure to public sector work, an orientation to County government, and insight into the wide range of career opportunities available. While many internships are unpaid and may count toward college credit or volunteer service, select departments may offer paid placements.
