Stockton - Samuel Andres Nunez aka "Sammy", 48, former leader of the now defunct nonprofit “Fathers and Families”, was found guilty by a Jury, Wednesday morning of Child Molestation. Nunez also admitted to all aggravating factors.

Sentencing for Nunez will take place on July 28, 2023.

“I’d like to thank Deputy District Attorney Theresa Stroud for her excellent handling of this case, and the jurors for each of them doing their civic duty”, said District Attorney Ron Freitas. “DDA Stroud presented a strong case based on facts and victim testimony, and a jury of the Defendant’s peers agreed on his guilt on charges brought against him. Make no mistake, no matter who you know, or what connections you may have, no one is above the law”, concluded Freitas.
