The San Joaquin Department of Public Works is excited to announce plans for the Boggs Tract Sustainable Transportation Improvements project in your neighborhood. In general, this project will include new and enhanced sidewalks/walkways, bicycle facilities, curb ramp installations, and road rehabilitation.
In 2022, San Joaquin Department of Public Works completed a Boggs Tract Sustainable Community Plan, following traffic and land use studies, as well as outreach meetings with the Boggs Tract community. The Plan guided future street improvements to enhance the mobility and promote walking and biking within Boggs Tract. In 2025, funding was approved for some of the improvements outlined in the Community Plan.
Design is advancing with the approved improvements, and construction is planned to begin in 2026.
