San Joaquin County is committed to supporting our retiree population. As part of this commitment, the County pools retirees with active participants to help mitigate healthcare costs and achieve the most cost-effective rates and premiums available through group purchasing.

 While San Joaquin County actively negotiates these rates, the County does not administer retiree health plans.
