The Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Office proudly serves the residents and taxpayers of San Joaquin County. Our mission is to ensure the safekeeping of public funds while maintaining liquidity and maximizing earnings in a conservative and prudent matter. Online auction scheduled to begin June 2-3, 2021

The Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Office of San Joaquin County, California will conduct an online tax sale of tax-defaulted properties on Online bidding will begin June 2, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. PT and will close at staggered times on June 3, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. PT to 12:00 p.m. PT. All auctions are no reserve meaning the highest bid at or above the minimum bid will win the property.

Bidders must register for a Bid4Assets account and fund a $1,500 deposit before they are able to participate in this sale. Deposits are due by May 25, 2021 at 1:00 a.m. PT. To view more details about this auction, visit sjcttc.orgor


Secured property taxes for 2020-21 . The delinquent date for the second installment is April 12, 2021.

    Payments Online and by Phone

    Due to COVID-19 taxpayers are encouraged to make payments online or over the phone. Please use the quick link View or Pay Property Taxes or call (866) 954-1829. 


    Payments by Mail

    Property tax payments must be received or postmarked by the United States Postal Service (USPS) by the delinquent date. Taxpayers who send their payments by mail should be aware that the USPS only postmarks certain mail depending on the type of postage used. Payments should be mailed to:

    The San Joaquin County Treasurer-Tax Collector's Office is located at 44 North San Joaquin Street, First Floor Suite 150, Stockton, CA 95202. We are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is a drop box  located in front of the County Administration Building available for drop off of payments by check or money order.
