Our Business Services team, led by the Business Services Manager, is the backbone of the Public Works Department, handling a wide range of administrative and operational duties. This team is responsible for supporting the Executive Team’s day-to-day business as well as overseeing essential support services such as incoming and outgoing mail; document preparation; maintaining office supplies; and document duplication printing services for all Public Works divisions.
Additionally, this team handles the nuts and bolts of the department's administrative needs. They are responsible for a variety of critical tasks, including managing the administrative budget, overseeing all records and documents, coordinating facilities maintenance, and managing vendor relationships.
Finally, the Business Services Manager works closely with the Executive Team on legislative platform coordination and other efforts to develop and implement new strategies and initiatives that benefit the department and the community.
