Projects submitted electronically to our Gopost site are not immediately in the queue for plan review. Projects uploaded during weekends and non-working weekday hours will not be processed until the next work day. They will be processed in the order of the time and date they were submitted. Projects can take 2-3 days to start the process, depending on the volume of electronic submittals. When your project is viewed, our technician will make sure everything is uploaded correctly and send it to the appropriate Department(s). The status will change as the project progresses. Every status change will be followed with an email to inform you of the change. When the project status is changed to “Accepted”, it has received a building permit number and it is in the queue for Electronic plan review (EPR).

FINAL APPROVAL AND PERMIT ISSUANCE:

When all disciplines have approved the project, the final fees, permit card signatures and outstanding items will be requested by email. Once all of the requested items are received, the permit will be issued. The approved jobsite plans will be available for download and the permit card with the Inspection record will be emailed.

The permit holder is responsible for printing a full-size copy of the approved plans, along with a copy of the permit and Inspection record, and having them available at the jobsite during construction.
