HAZELTON COMPLEX COVID-19 LOBBY INFORMATION
As the state commences its reopening, certain masking and social distancing requirements have been relaxed pursuant to guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as implemented by Governor Newsom, the California Department of Public Health, and Cal-OSHA.
In line with these changes, effective July 6, 2021, social distancing will not be required in the Hazelton Complex lobbies. Additionally, and also effective July 6, 2021, the masking requirements in the lobbies will change as follows:
Members of the public will not be required to wear facemasks if they are fully-vaccinated. An individual is "fully-vaccinated" two weeks after the second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines, or two weeks after the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Members of the public who are not fully-vaccinated must continue to wear a compliant facemask. Compliant facemasks must completely cover the nose and mouth, and do not include neck gaiters (regardless of double-layering), masks with valves or other holes, bandanas, or face shields.
In an effort to promote efficiency, the public is encouraged to utilize email or electronic submittals and appointments. Additionally, the public can utilize the drop box outside for submittals or drop-offs. The drop box is available after hours and is emptied twice per day.
Please note that customers with appointments will be given preference, during times of high traffic.
However, every effort will be made to serve walk-in customers in a timely way, and if a customer with an appointment is late to their appointment, a walk in customer may be moved up in the queue.
All customers entering the Public Works / Community Development lobby must check in with the Care Officer.
