What:
The Airport Open House is a free event hosted by the Stockton Metropolitan Airport designed for families and aviation enthusiasts alike. The event will offer a unique opportunity for residents of all ages to explore the exciting world of aviation and learn more about the essential role aviation plays in our local economy. The event will include a wide variety of aircraft displays for attendees to explore, including general aviation aircraft, military planes, helicopters, and jets. Attendees can look forward to flyovers throughout the day, drone demonstrations, and exhibitor booths hosted by airport tenants, local aviation organizations, and various San Joaquin County agencies.

Saturday, May 10, 2025 – 9:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.

Stockton Metropolitan Airport 5000 S. Airport Way, Stockton, 95206 Event parking is free and available in the parking lot directly in front of the main terminal.
Why:
The goal of this event is to build relationships between the airport and our community while inspiring interest in aviation. It will bring together airport employees, commercial tenants, aviation enthusiasts, and military organizations to showcase the important role of aviation in our community. Although Stockton Metropolitan Airport has been a part of the area for decades, many residents are still unfamiliar with it. Attendees will have the chance to get up close to the aircraft, learn about various aviation careers, and experience the joy of flying by interacting with aircraft owners and pilots. Additionally, the event aims to provide recruitment opportunities for the airport's commercial tenants.
