Mission Statement
The mission of the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office Behavior Health is to insure individuals with mental health challenges are receiving necessary treatment and support through a collaborative effort with Behavior Health professionals, law enforcement, medical practitioners and the public. This is accomplished by a simultaneous and parallel investigative approach in which there is an appropriate resolution in the criminal justice and behavior health systems. Additionally, individuals exhibiting behavior patterns of concern are identified to receive appropriate treatment to ensure everyone's safety.
