Voting In San Joaquin County

    Every voter will be mailed a ballot October 5, 2020.
    You can request a replacement ballot in our office or at a Voter Service Center.
    There are four (4) ways to vote, use the links below for more information:

    OPTION 1 | Vote-by-Mail

    OPTION 2 | Vote in-Person at the Registrar’s Office when it is Convenient for You

    • You may pick up a Vote-by-Mail ballot or get a replacement ballot
    • You may Vote on an accessible touch screen voting machine
      at the Registrar’s Office, located at 44 N. San Joaquin St., Stockton.
    • The San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters’ Office is open Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm.
    • On Election Day, the Registrar’s Office will be open 7am to 8pm.

    OPTION 3 | Vote in-Person at a Voter Service Center

    Starting October 31, 2020 there will be 34 Voter Service Centers in San Joaquin County


    Find a Voter Service Center near you - Hours for all Voter Service Centers are:

    Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (9 am - 5 pm)
    Election Day, Tuesday, November 3 (7 am - 8 pm)

    • You may pick up a Vote-by-Mail ballot or get a replacement ballot.
    • You may Vote on an accessible touch screen voting machine at the Voter Service Centers.
    • On Election Day, all Voter Service Centers will be open 7am to 8pm.

    OPTION 4 | Accessible Vote-by-Mail Ballots

    For the Presidential General Election, all voters can use a Remote Accessible Vote by Mail Ballot to safely vote at home. Ballots are compatible with screen-reader technology for voters with disabilities. Once the ballot is marked, it needs to be printed out and returned to the Office of the Registrar of Voters. Please read the instructions carefully. Ballots cannot be submitted online or by email.

    • Ballots returned in person must be returned by Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at 8pm.
    • Ballots returned by mail must be postmarked on or before November 3, 2020 and received by the office of the Registrar of Voters by Friday, November 20, 2020 to be counted.
