Stockton - This week, Kenneth Vanderford, age 54, and Kevin Etherton, age 28, were sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole by the honorable Seth Hoyt for two 2016 Lodi murders. They were found guilty of the crimes by a jury in March 2020.

Stockton - Today, District Attorney Tori Verber Salazar had the honor of standing with Gay and Bob Hardwick, two local victims of Joseph DeAngelo, the murderer and rapist known as the Golden State Killer/East Area Rapist. In the 1970s and 1980s, DeAngelo violated scores of innocent people throughout California. The Hardwicks' world changed in 1978, when this monster breached their home and lives. Stockton - Today, District Attorney Tori Verber Salazar announced that Dustin Forte, age 44, pleaded guilty to one count of Penal code §278.5, Felony Child Abduction. He was sentenced by the Honorable Michael Coughlan and received a four year term of probation and is forbidden from seeing his children until a Family Law Court deems it appropriate. He had failed to return his children to their mother who lives out of the state after their summer visitation.

Stockton - Today, District Attorney Tori Verber Salazar announced that Billy Dee Williams, age 30, will be arraigned on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, on torture and child abuse charges stemming from the discovery of his seven year old daughter's body in the garage of their home on Saturday morning. Dr. Michael Hunter, the Medical Examiner for San Joaquin County, has indicated that it will take additional time to review all of the forensic medical evidence to determine the cause of death.
