The Agricultural Commissioner enforces the provisions of the California Food and Agricultural Code for the protection of the public's health, safety and welfare, and to promote and protect the agricultural industry.
The Agriculture Office now allows the public to submit online notice of intents for pesticide usage. You will need to have your Permit Number ready.
The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office is excited to announce the creation of an online Continuing Education course website. The courses are all free, contain California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) approved units, and are prerecorded so attendees can take
them at their convenience. New courses will be added over time. Go to
sj-ce.org to register for an account and access the posted courses.
** If you’re a member of the agricultural industry and you’re having trouble finding face masks for COVID-19 protection purposes call our offices.
