Holiday Tree Disposal and Recycling Programs
serving Stockton, Tracy, Lodi, Manteca, Ripon, Lathrop, Escalon and San Joaquin County

How do I recycle or properly dispose of...

Updated November 2013  This section is updated every December as holiday tree handling varies from year to year.  San Joaquin County's Lovelace Facility in Manteca and the North County Facility in Lodi take holiday trees free of charge after December 25th and through the second week in January.  Trees must be stripped of all ornaments and tinsel if they are to be recycled.  Flocked trees and trees contaminated with tinsel or other materials will not be recycled or taken for free and will be regarded as waste.  Other holiday tree collection, disposal and recycling methods vary by City and are listed below.
