San Joaquin County's Permanent
Household Hazardous Waste Consolidation Facility is located on a two-acre
parcel at 7850 R.A. Bridgeford Street, Stockton, California, adjacent
to the Air Metro Business Park at the Stockton Metropolitan Airport.
The facility includes a 5,300 square foot split-face cement block building,
a parking area, loading dock, and storage bins. The facility handles
approximately 6,000 residents and businesses annually. The facility is open
to the public three days per week, Thursday through Saturday, from 9:00 a.m.
to 3:00 p.m., excluding major holidays. Business waste from Conditionally
Exempt Small Quantity Generators (CESQGs) will be accepted by appointment

The San Joaquin County Household Hazardous Waste Facility
opened its doors to the public in August of 2003. Construction costs were
approximately $1,300,000. Funding for the project was provided through the
County Service Area #53 (CSA #53) budget reserves.
The facility was designed by EBA Wastechnologies, an
engineering and environmental consulting firm with experience in the design
of household hazardous waste facilities.
