San Joaquin County Household Hazardous Waste Facility

San Joaquin County's Permanent Household Hazardous Waste Consolidation Facility is located on a two-acre parcel at 7850 R.A. Bridgeford Street, Stockton, California, adjacent to the Air Metro Business Park at the Stockton Metropolitan Airport.  The facility includes a 5,300 square foot split-face cement block building, a parking area, loading dock, and storage bins. The facility handles approximately 6,000 residents and businesses annually. The facility is open to the public three days per week, Thursday through Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., excluding major holidays.  Business waste from Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generators (CESQGs) will be accepted by appointment only.  For more information, call (209) 468-3066.

The San Joaquin County Household Hazardous Waste Facility opened its doors to the public in August of 2003.  Construction costs were approximately $1,300,000. Funding for the project was provided through the County Service Area #53 (CSA #53) budget reserves.

The facility was designed by EBA Wastechnologies, an engineering and environmental consulting firm with experience in the design of household hazardous waste facilities.
