Closure of the old module, which reached its capacity in 2003, and installation of a Landfill Gas System will be completed by the year 2005. Funding for both projects, $8.9 million for the new module and $7.3 million for closing the old module, are funded by the Solid Waste Enterprise Fund (Certificates of Participation).
