The Office of Revenue &
Recovery (ORR)
has 26 fulltime staff handling
over 100,000 active accounts and collects over $12 million in annual
revenue for various departments within the county. ORR
has a 2002-03 proposed budget of $1,403,100 and a net county cost of
$1,149,461.

Vision/Mission
The Office of Revenue and Recovery
serves the taxpayers of San Joaquin County, departments within the County
and individuals who are debtors or who have an interest in monies owed to
San Joaquin County. We work closely with County departments to collect
monies due them and assist debtors in the repayment of amounts owing by
providing accurate information in a professional, competent and
knowledgeable manner. Our approach generates revenue for San Joaquin
County which lessens the financial burden on the taxpayer.
