Budget and Employees
The Department of Public Works, with a staff of 426 employees, is charged
with the responsibility to plan, design, construct, operate, and maintain
the public roads, bridges, water, wastewater systems, flood control, and
solid waste systems of the County, to protect the health and welfare of
the public and preserve the County's infrastructure investments.
