The Goal of the Divisions within the Department of Public Works

1,660.29 miles of roadway;
277 bridges;
364 minor structures;
5 solid waste facilities;
216 miles of project levees;
107 miles of channels;
100 special districts which provide
water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and street lighting services.
