San Joaquin Operational Area
Disaster Relief Coalition

In the event of a disaster the Disaster Relief Coalition will be activated to organize volunteer and charitable disaster relief efforts within the County to assist and support the local, state, and federal care and shelter efforts in San Joaquin OA. The Disaster Relief Coalition is composed of Charitable Organizations, like community groups and churches, Private Non-Profit Organizations, like the American Red Cross and United Way, and local government.

Individuals who would like to volunteer their services or make donations to help provide disaster relief should make direct contact with one of the Disaster Relief Coalition organizations (see list below).

If your organization would like to be a part of the Operational Area Disaster Relief Coalition, please register by the "Local Organization Questionnaire."   Submit your completed questionnaire to: e-mail address, mailing address, fax number.

" CBO's and PNP's participating in DRC relief efforts should not expect reimbursement for their expenses. However, organizations should document their expenses and report them to the Jurisdiction's incident/event Damage Assessment Unit in the event that reimbursement becomes possible for any portion of their expenses."
