CONTRACT SENIOR SERVICES

The Department of Aging and Community Services contracts with the following agencies to provide additional services to seniors 60 years old and above:

Addus Healthcare contracts to provide personal care and homemaker services to low income seniors who are not eligible for In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS), but who can afford private homemaker care.  Call Addus Healthcare at (209) 463-8091 for more information.

Catholic Charities contracts to provide personal care and homemaker services to low income seniors who are not eligible for In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS), but who can afford private homemaker care.  In addition, Catholic Charities also contracts to provide the following services:  Respite Care, Chore Help, Home Modification, and Telephone Reassurance.  Call Catholic Charities at (209) 444-5900 or visit their website at www.catholiccharitiesstk.org for more information.

Hutchins Street Square contracts to provide local Information and Assistance to seniors and caregivers in the Lodi area.  Call Hutchins Street Square at (209) 369-6921 or visit their website at www.hutchinsstreetsquare.com for more information.

Council for the Spanish Speaking contracts to provide legal assistance to seniors.  Staffed with a paralegal and consulting attorney, the program offers legal advice and various advocacy services. Other services include educational workshops, presentations pertaining to wills, powers of attorney, restraining orders, small claims, filling out forms, writing legal letters, and many other problems encountered by seniors. Del Oro Caregiver Resource Center contracts to provide Caregiver Training to family caregivers of older adults who reside in San Joaquin County.  Call Del Oro at 1-800-635-0220 or (916) 971-0893, or visit their website at www.deloro.org for more information.

Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) contracts to provide Medicare and health insurance counseling and advocacy to all Medicare eligible individuals or individuals soon to be on Medicare.  Call HICAP at 1-800-434-0222 to talk to a counselor.

Jene Wah, Inc. contracts to provide congregate meals, telephone reassurance, homemaker, and personal care services primarily to low income Chinese Seniors.  Call Jene Wah at (209) 463-7654 for more information.

Lodi Memorial Hospital contracts to provide adult day care and disease prevention activities to seniors in San Joaquin County at Hutchins Street Square Senior Center in Lodi, California.  Call Lodi Memorial at (209) 369-4443 or visit them on the web at www.lodihealth.org for more information.

Second Harvest Food Bank contracts to provide the Brown Bag Program, which distributes bags of food to seniors.  Click the link for Brown Bag locations in your area.
