CONTRACT SENIOR SERVICES
The Department of Aging and
Community Services contracts with the following agencies to provide
additional services to seniors 60 years old and above:
Addus Healthcare
contracts to provide personal care and homemaker services to low
income seniors who are not eligible for In-Home Supportive Services
(IHSS), but who can afford private homemaker care. Call Addus

Catholic Charities
contracts to provide
personal care and homemaker services to low income seniors who are not
eligible for In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS), but who can afford
private homemaker care. In addition, Catholic Charities also
contracts to provide the following services: Respite Care, Chore
Help, Home Modification, and Telephone Reassurance. Call Catholic

Hutchins Street Square
contracts to provide local
Information and Assistance to seniors and caregivers in the Lodi

Council for the Spanish Speaking
contracts to provide legal assistance to seniors.
Staffed with a paralegal and consulting
attorney, the program offers legal advice and various advocacy
services. Other services include educational workshops, presentations
pertaining to wills, powers of attorney, restraining orders, small
claims, filling out forms, writing legal letters, and many other
problems encountered by seniors. There are some services offered to

Oro Caregiver Resource Center
contracts to provide
Caregiver Training to family caregivers of
older adults who reside in San Joaquin County. Call Del Oro at

Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP)
contracts to provide
Medicare and health insurance counseling and advocacy to all Medicare
eligible individuals or individuals soon to be on Medicare. Call

Jene Wah, Inc.
contracts to provide congregate meals, telephone reassurance,
homemaker, and personal care services primarily to low income Chinese

Lodi Memorial Hospital
contracts to provide adult day care and disease prevention activities
to seniors in San Joaquin County at Hutchins Street Square Senior
Center in Lodi, California. Call Lodi Memorial at (209) 369-4443 or

Second Harvest Food Bank
contracts to provide the Brown Bag Program, which distributes bags of
