The
Administrative Services Division oversees Budget & Finance, Benefit
Recovery, Fair Hearings, Personnel, Policies & Procedures, Staff
Development, and Information Systems.
HSA's annual budget is comprised of Federal, State, and County funds. Federal and State legislation and local regulations govern the method by which resources for HSA are allocated.
For Fiscal Year 2008/2009, HSA anticipates expending approximately $191.6 million for Assistance Payments (e.g. cash assistance, general relief, foster care, etc.) and approximately $127.9 million for administration programs (e.g. CalWORKs, Children's Services, etc.)
