November 3, 2005 - Welcome Kevin O'Loughlin
Dan Burch, EMS Administrator is pleased to announce that Kevin O'Loughlin has joined the EMS Agency staff filling the recently created position of EMS Specialist. Mr. O'Loughlin, who was recently discharged from active duty with the California Army National Guard, previously served as the EMS systems director for the eleven county strong Northern California EMS Agency. Mr. O'Loughlin is a licensed paramedic and former paramedic firefighter. Please join us in a hardy Welcome Aboard!

October 11, 2005- EMS Liaison Committee Meeting Location Changes
There is a change in the location of the EMS Liaison Committee meeting scheduled for October 12, 2005. The EMS Liaison Committee's October meeting will be held at Doctors Hospital of Manteca while the November meeting will be held at Escalon Community Ambulance. For additional information or directions to the meetings please contact the EMS agency at (209) 468-6818.
September 22, 2005- Policy Revisions
The San Joaquin County EMS Agency is beginning the process of revising its policies. Drafts of the revised policies will be available on the web site for the public to review.

July, 12, 2005 - Release of a Request for Proposal for Emergency Ambulance Service
San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors authorized the release of a Request for Proposal to provide emergency advanced life support services for one or more exclusive areas centered on the communities of Lodi, Stockton, and Tracy. Read more >>
July 11, 2005 - EMS Agency Re-organization
The EMS Agency is moving forward with plans to conduct a complete staff re-organization to better meet the needs of the EMS system. On July 13th the San Joaquin County Civil Service Commission will be considering a request from the EMS Agency to create the positions of EMS Analyst and EMS Specialist.
