San Joaquin County Equal Employment Opportunity Training
The County Equal Employment Opportunity Office conducts training classes that focus on EEO-related topics. In addition, the office works in partnership with the County’s Staff Development unit within the Human Resources Division to provide Countywide training to employees. Equal Employment Opportunity: Discrimination And Harassment Laws And Prevention (For Supervisors And Managers)
Introduces supervisors and managers to concepts of equal employment opportunity, the Federal and State laws that prohibit employment discrimination and harassment, and Civil Service Rule 20.
NEW: Discrimination Prevention Training For General Employees
Introduces general employees to concepts of equal employment opportunity, the Federal and State laws that prohibit employment discrimination and harassment, and Civil Service Rule 20.
Diversity, Respect and Inclusion: A Personal Commitment
Intended to increase awareness and sensitivity to the impact of diversity and cultural variations on behavior and communication in the workplace.
Sexual Harassment Awareness
Reviews the County's Harassment-Free Work Environment Policy and outlines behaviors that are appropriate for the workplace and what action is taken if harassment occurs. This workshop is mandatory for all general employees and must be repeated every two years.
Sexual Harassment For Supervisors And Managers
Teaches the skills necessary to identify the various forms of sexual harassment and provides legal information in regard to the issues of sexual harassment.
