San Joaquin County’s Equal Employment Opportunity Office will exhibit competence, respect and integrity in managing its responsibilities when interfacing with employees, regulatory agents and other third parties. The Equal Employment Opportunity Office serves as an unbiased, neutral party in the County Civil Service Rule 20 process.

The mission of the County Equal Employment Opportunity Office is to promote fairness and equality in public service by program implementation and monitoring of the County Equal Employment Opportunity plans, policies, processes and practices. Through training and education it is the goal of the County Equal Employment Opportunity Office to promote a non-discriminatory and harassment-free work environment for County employees and job applicants.
