Code Enforcement investigates complaints received from individual citizens, and neighborhood and community groups. Complaints investigated relate to building and land use regulations with an emphasis on ensuring that the integrity of land and building uses are maintained within neighborhoods and communities.

The following actions do not take place until the 30-day notice procedure has been completed. This provides reasonable opportunity to comply with law and code requirements voluntarily, thus avoiding possibly costly legal actions.
