DCSS has been notified of several "phishing" scams that target Individuals who have child support cases or individuals that use Electronic Payment Cards (EPC). If you receive a call from either an automated system or a person claiming to be the California Department of Child Support Services (DCSS) or California State Disbursement Unit (SDU), please do not provide your Social Security number or any other personal information.
To verify that any calls you receive related to child Support are authentic, please call your local child support agency at 1-866-901-3212.
